EVENTS

THE NUTS AND BOLTS OF MAREKTING

A basic/beginner marketing class will be held on Tuesday, February 27th at the Farm Bureau Building in Lewistown.  This 2-hour session is a tutorial on how to use combinations of marketing tools.

Great marketing can be the difference between a profit and a loss in today’s commodity price environment.  Do you know which tools to use to keep your marketing window open to capture upside opportunities while protecting profits from downside risk?  This session will include an entertaining hands-on market simulator game.

“We find that a significant majority of producers do NOT REALLY UNDERSTAND the mechanics of how futures and options really work and are managed and avoid them due to a lack of understanding.  Lots of seminars talk about using them, few do a good job  of explaining how to the novice, says Joe Webel, Market Advisor with Stewart-Peterson, who will present the seminar.

The seminar begins at 1pm.  There is no charge, but pre-registration is required by calling 547-3011 or emailing us at fultonfb@att.net.
